CreaTuLiga is a service for running leagues and tournaments: standings, fixtures, match reports and badges. For any question, legal request or to exercise your rights, write to us at hola@creatuliga.es.
2. Who is responsible for what
Each league or club that uses CreaTuLiga (the “organiser”) decides which details about its players and teams are published, and is the data controller for that information. CreaTuLiga acts as a data processor: we provide the tool and the infrastructure. If you are a player and want to exercise your rights, please contact the organiser of your league first.
3. What information we handle
Administrators: email address and password (stored encrypted, never in plain text).
Players and teams: name (or nickname), an optional photo and sporting results, entered by the organiser.
What we never ask for: CreaTuLiga never asks for an ID or passport number, nor for a home address, phone number, date of birth or bank details of players. For a player we only use a name and, if the organiser chooses, a photo. Please do not put other people’s personal details in names, photos or notes.
Fan predictions: a nickname each person chooses and an anonymous identifier generated on their device. No real name, email or sign-up is required, and no IP address is stored.
Statistics and errors: a daily visit counter with no personal data, and technical error logs (message, page and browser) so that we can fix problems.
Result alerts: if you turn on alerts on your phone, we store the technical address your browser gives us in order to send them. You can turn them off at any time.
Messages and reports: if you write to us through “Report a problem or suggest” or “Report content”, we keep your message, the page you sent it from and your email if you gave one.
4. Cookies, local storage and advertising
Essential only. We use a session cookie so administrators can sign in, and your browser’s local storage to remember preferences (light/dark theme, language, prediction nickname, badges you have seen, chosen season). These do not require consent.
Advertising. Leagues on the Free plan show ads from Google AdSense, which is how the service is funded. Google and its partners may use cookies and identifiers to show ads, personalised or not, and to measure how they perform. In the European Economic Area, we show Google’s consent message before any ads load; there you can accept, reject or customise their use, and you can change your mind later from that same message. You can read more about how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Leagues on the Premium plan show no ads.
Visit counter (no cookies). We count how many times each page is viewed by adding 1 to a daily counter. We do not store your IP address, cookies, identifiers or anything on your device, and we respect the “Do Not Track” signal. That is why no consent is needed.
Statistics (Google Analytics). With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure how many people visit CreaTuLiga and which pages they use. Nothing from Google is loaded and no analytics cookie is stored until you accept. We anonymise the IP address, do not enable Google’s advertising signals and do not send personal data or URL parameters. You can accept or reject, and change your decision at any time. Provider: Google Ireland Limited; data may be processed on Google servers outside the EU under standard contractual clauses.
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
5. Legal basis and retention
Processing relies on the organiser’s legitimate interest in running its competition and, where applicable, on participants’ consent (for example, to publish a photo) and, for personalised advertising, on your consent. Data is kept for as long as the organiser keeps its league, and can be deleted at any time from the admin panel.
6. Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, and object to its processing, by writing to hola@creatuliga.es or to your league’s organiser. If you think your request has not been handled properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or to the data protection authority where you live.
7. Plans and payments
CreaTuLiga is free to use. There is an optional Premium plan (no ads, your own branding, colours and logo, and other visual extras), at the prices shown in the app (Admin → Plan).
Payment is a one-off charge, paid in advance, with no automatic renewal, and is made through PayPal, which processes the payment details as an independent controller. When the period you paid for ends, your league goes back to the Free plan: your data is not deleted.
Refunds: you can ask for a refund within 14 days of purchase by writing to hola@creatuliga.es from the email used for the payment. This does not affect any statutory rights you have as a consumer.
8. Acceptable use and liability
CreaTuLiga is a tool: we do not run the leagues, we do not control what each organiser chooses to publish, and we are not responsible for misuse of the site or its data.
The administrator of each league is solely responsible for what they upload: names, photos, links, crests and banners. They must have the permission of the people who appear and comply with data protection and image rights law. Publishing illegal or offensive content, or content that infringes the rights of others, is prohibited.
Minors: CreaTuLiga is not aimed at children and does not verify anyone’s age. If minors take part in a league, it is the sole responsibility of its administrator to obtain consent from their parents or guardians before publishing a name or photo, or else not to publish them.
We may remove content or suspend a league if we receive a well-founded complaint or find use that breaches these terms; this does not oblige us to monitor content. To report content, use the “Report content” link at the bottom of each league.
The service is provided “as is”, with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability; please make regular backups from Admin → Settings. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Intellectual property
The software, design and badges of CreaTuLiga belong to CreaTuLiga. A Premium licence gives the right to use it in the league named, not to resell or redistribute it. The names of games and platforms mentioned belong to their respective owners and are used for description only.
